Board of Directors Openings
The Wyomissing Area Soccer Club is governed and operated by our Board of Directors. Board members are volunteers comprised of Wyomissing Area community members. The role of our Board of Directors is to oversee and govern all club operations, organization, strategic planning, and long-term growth plans. Members attend monthly meetings, represent the Club at affiliate meetings, and take on tasks as needed to assure programs run smoothly each season. The Board of Directors meet regularly on the third Tuesday of the month.
The WASC Board of Directors is currently looking to fill several key positions:
Coaching Director—Responsible for the overall strategic framework for coach development and training, coach registration in accordance with league requirements, and equipment sourcing, organization, and distribution for all coaches. Point of contact for travel coaches and represents coaches at board meetings
Registration Assistant—Assist the registrar in organizing programs as needed.
Secretary—Responsible for ensuring the transparency of WASC affairs by scheduling and organizing board meetings, recording and publishing meeting minutes, maintaining club records and contracts, and publishing notices of scheduled meetings.
Members at Large—Assist in various tasks according to the needs of the Club.
